Review: Supernatural Season 6, Episode 1: Exile on Main Street

OKAY. So I’ve heard that season six of Supernatural is one of the fans’ least favorite seasons, and I’m beginning to see why. I just wasn’t feeling this episode, ya know? First of all, Dean wearing his shirt tucked in was psychologically TRAUMATIC for me. What was that fashion choice??? I get that he’s trying to be a normal person now, but did he need to dress like a suburban dad too? Anyway, let me take a step back before I get too upset about fashion. The Tucked in Shirt KILLS Me I was really not happy with this episode from a plot perspective. First of all, the genie storyline was dumb. I don’t care about it, and it was boring. However, I get that the djinn plot wasn’t really the point. I am INCANDESCENT WITH RAGE at Sam. I mean, WHAT IS HE DOING??? Review: Supernatural Season 4, Episode 11: Family Remains

Well THAT was fuel for nightmares. Like, jeez! They put every horrifying thing that they possibly could in one episode. That was probably the most disturbing thing I’ve seen since that family of cannibals back in season one! *Shudder.* Seriously though, the episodes with human monsters are the worst because we all know that stuff like that actually happens in the world. (Although, I like to think that in reality a house could not be sold to a new family with people living in the walls . (!!!!!) Surely someone would have noticed that before all the papers were signed!) It’s genuinely really frightening to think that things like this happen to people, but they do! Which is what makes the episode so scary. Anyway, if you need a recap, this episode is about a family that buys a new house after the previous owner was brutally murdered in a locked room. Review: Supernatural Season 7, Episode 17: The Born-Again Identity

Alert the presses! CAS IS BACK! Guys, I cannot describe how much this excites me. I suspected that Cas wasn’t permanently dead (because he’s died and come back so many times), but I was still thrilled to see him back on the show. I know the last time we saw him he was a vengeful god, but I’ve already forgiven him everything. No one can stay angry with Castiel. I mean, he’s CAS. The minute they started talking about Emmanuel the healer, I was like “that’s going to be Cas, amiright?” And, I was right! And, I gotta say, amnesia Castiel was ADORABLE. He’s like a sweet little baby who just wants to help people! INFANT CAS. I kind of wish he could have stayed like that. Plus, I think this is the only time we’ve seen him wearing something besides a trenchcoat. He’s rocking that sweater. Anyway, I’m feeling some kind of way about this episode.
